I’ve used it to deliver instructions for a lesson when I was absent (see the talking hotdog below), but I think the real power in this tool is providing students another fun way to express understanding. Creating characters is free, but paid accounts offer more features. Voki Classroom Manager offers the ability for teachers to manage students and lessons, review Vokis, create a showcase, and more. Voki Presenter allows teachers to incorporate Vokis into their presentations and store them online.
