Copyright-Free Video Footage for Student Projects

Copyright Free Video, Images, and Music

I’ve shared several great sites that feature copyright-friendly images and music for use in student projects (links at the bottom of this post). Finding high-quality, copyright-free video footage has been a bit more challenging. Whether you’re looking for video footage to narrate a poem to, a green screen background, or high-quality b-roll footage, Coverr has you covered.

Coverr provides a large selection of copyright-free videos that can be used in nearly any way, for free. No attribution is required (see full usage license for more information). Search for a video, check out the newest and most popular videos, or browse across 11 categories. The middle of most category and search result pages feature an add for Shutterstock (paid) videos, but scroll down for more free results and a “load more” button. Downloading couldn’t be easier – it’s just one click.
